NSX is part of the Helicus Aero Initiative (HIA). This ecosystem creates the opportunity to transport medical packages between hospitals and medical laboratories. This innovative project, called MEDRONA, receives financial support from the Federal Government of Transport and communication through the Smart Mobility initiative. In September 2019 the first test flights are going to be performed in Antwerp.

The goal of the MEDRONA project is to transport medical packages between hospitals and medical warehouses or laboratories. In a first phase the packages will contain medicines but this will evolve to human tissue, blood and urine samples that will be transported in a secure and reliable way.

NSX develops the integration software for the command and control center.
